Nadine Gaab is the Silvana and Christopher Pascucci Professor in Learning Differences at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and director of the GaabLab. Her research examines typical and atypical learning trajectories from infancy to adolescence, with an emphasis on language and reading development within a learning-disabilities framework, drawing on cognitive neuroscience, developmental psychology, and education policy. She is the 2024 recipient of the Translation Award from the International Society of Mind, Brain, and Education and the 2023 Academic Research Recognition Award from the World Literacy Foundation, among other honors for her advocacy on behalf of children with reading disabilities. She is also co-founder of EarlyBird Education, a gamified EdTech platform for identifying children at risk for language-based learning disabilities.
